Job Title: Senior Accountant
Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a US Fortune 500 corporation, is preparing to provide Program Management, Systems Integration, and Operations Management services to international consortiums that will be working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to design, build, install, operate, and maintain traffic management, law enforcement, and security systems at various locations in the Kingdom. Upon initiation of work on this five-year program, ACS will be assembling in early 2008 a team of professionals with varying disciplines for varying durations of assignment in Saudi Arabia.
Position include the following:
• Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts
• Balances books or accounts and prepares profit/loss, income and balance sheet statements
• Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliation and margin trend analysis
• Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation
• Conducts studies and develops solutions for improving accounting processes
• Prepares and analyzes tax records and reports
• Prepares local, state and federal tax returns
• Assists in preparing statistical and financial reports
• Maintains records and performs miscellaneous tax assignments
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Individuals in this position will need to have experience that includes:
• A seasoned, experience professional with a full understanding in area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write in Arabic would be beneficial.
• Strong personal integrity and commitment to ethical behavior.

To monitor the execution of the facilities and to assure that work is executed correctly by certain quality requirements. You have to develop additional designs to supplement AFC designs to facilitate the production and the construction of a chemical plant. You will be responsible for Coordination between the organization and the head quarters, subcontractors and external engineers. You will support the programming, planning and cost control. You have to give support in quality subjects of the project.
You are preparing designs “As built”.
You are carrying out work in the area of field engineering to develop studies for the installation of heavy equipment with restricted access.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Industrial Engineering and will have at least 10 years of experience and working as a Field Engineer and at least 5 years of experience in turnkey projects.
