in new territories and recent growth has led to the need
to hire several Sales Agents to be based in Cairo, Jeddah
and Riyadh.

THE ROLE:

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Ø The indirect sale of the company's products and
services and managing indirect channel partners/resellers
Ø Making 5 customer visits per day, 4 days per week,
with the other day being used to complete customer visit
reports, providing feedback and following up actions from
the customer visit
Ø Attaining unit volume, margins and market share
objectives by selling Seagate products through indirect
channel partners
Ø Building and understanding the partners' channel
profile
Ø Managing the sales process, including targeting
new opportunities, customer visits, assisting with new
product design-in process and developing sales forecasts
Ø Communicating & explaining to partners the latest
channel programs, product updates and product roadmaps
Ø Managing the Seagate pricing process
Ø Providing internal channel feedback, highlighting
updates on each of the indirect accounts, competition
pricing, TAM data, etc
Ø Liaising with many different Seagate departments,
including marketing, pricing team, (in the USA) and with
other internal & external sales representatives
Ø Cold calling to new potential customers
Ø Representing Seagate at local events, which may
include carrying out presentations

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will:

Ø Have higher education, preferably (but not
necessarily) within the technology sector
Ø Be PC literate
Ø Have some IT experience, but more importantly show
an interest in technology in general
Ø Understand channel sales and customer needs
Ø Be proactive and able to work individually
Ø Work initially on a six month contract with
possibility to extend the contract for a longer period if
the project is successful
Ø Be fluent in Arabic with good English language
skills, both written & spoken
